QUILTING
Quilters Welcome!
Classes for quilters are both prescheduled and pop-up.
Call me to schedule a "pop-up" event for you and your friends.
Multi day retreats, half-day and one-day workshops are available. A bed and breakfast is located a few blocks from the studio and there are several other lodging options within 2 miles.
Classes and group events are limited to six to eight depending on the subject or project. I also have several featherweights to loan those who can't or don't want to bring their own machine.
Check my travel schedule for an event near you. To schedule a traveling event contact me here.
YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT SEWING
On-going sewing clubs offer young people the opportunity to learn the skills for success in their world of sewing and creating, from learning to thread the machine and basic sewing skills to quilt making and garment sewing. Clubs are offered early and late afternoon to meet the needs of both home school and public-school students.
We want your child to have the best experience possible. Let’s talk so we can enroll your child in the club that will work best for them based on their current skills and what they would like to make.
All clubs are on a six-week rotating schedule, and are limited to 6 students – allowing the opportunity for individual attention. Sewing machines, supplies, and materials provided.
Individual project classes are also offered for those who are proficient sewers.
Follow the Old School Sewing facebook page. New classes will also be announced there.
